Travel back in time!
Mäntymotelli offers a wonderful opportunity to travel back in time. We worked very hard to preserve this legendary treasure in the style of the 70s and the 80s.
David Lynch, Aki Kaurismäki and Stanley Kubrick would be more than impressed.
Aside from the interiors and the architecture, a magnificent, wild scenery of lake Peruvesi shores is there to charm our guests.
Delicious authentic Italian food, a gigantic dance floor, live music and karaoke singing (when the famous virus allows it), lovely enthusiastic staff, a cocktail bar with a very creative mixologist, saunas, water activities, fishing all year around, our retro gym and swimming pool (we are planning to fill it up in February 2021), cosy accommodations, hiking paths, winter cross country ski, tennis court, volleyball, noctilucent clouds in July, aurora borealis in winter… This is just to start the list of what is awaiting for you in Mäntymotelli.

Welcome to the second oldest motel of Finland
There are cottages and rooms of all sorts of capacity in Mäntymotelli: three separated houses for up to 8 people with private access to the lake, smaller cottages on the shore and many, many, many, many rooms. We even have “David Lynch suite” with a real enamelled bathtub, an old TV and VHS, little electric sauna and
a ghost. We call him Aurelién; he is harmless.

On Saturday the 25th of July 2020 the restaurant of Mäntymotelli, Ravintola Pino, opened its doors, followed by the bar. Our menu is based on authentic Italian fayre. The ingredients come all the way from Italy, including flour, cheese and charcuterie; we then fuse it with fish we source in Kissakoski, beef from Rekola farm in Pertunmaa, pork from Kuvala, vegetable, berries, mushrooms, dairy foraged locally.
